Privacy notice
Short version: the only personal data this site collects is what you type into the quote form, and it is used to answer that request.
Who is responsible
PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT & RENTAL LIMITED is responsible for the personal data submitted through ubdtravel.com. Questions about it, including a request to delete your details, go to info@ubdtravel.com.
What the form collects
The form asks for the kit you are interested in, your town, your postcode, your name and your email address. A phone number and a message about the bag and trip are optional. The field names are the same ones you see on the page: projectType, locality, postcode, name, email, phone and message.
There is one field on the form you will never see: a hidden text box for automated submissions. If it is filled in, the request is discarded. It is not personal data about you.
Why we hold it
To answer your request: to agree the sizes and quantities, to check stock and to send you the written quote. That is the purpose you confirm with the required box on the form, and it covers the whole exchange about this quote.
The second box is optional and separate. Ticking it means you are happy to receive occasional updates that are not about this request. Leaving it unticked does not affect your quote in any way, and you can ask us to stop the updates at any time.
Where it is stored
Requests are written to a file on the server that runs this website, where they are read by the people who answer them. Access is limited to that. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
Your request is kept while the quote is live and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up the thread if you come back to it. After that it is deleted. If you want it removed sooner, email us and it will be.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to our use of it. Write to info@ubdtravel.com and say what you want done. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
