Laundry and Shoe Pouches

The bags that stop day-five clothes and outdoor shoes touching everything else in the case.

Set of three grey travel pouches laid out flat: drawstring laundry sack, zipped shoe bag and a small flat pouch
A sack for worn clothes, a bag for shoes, a flat pouch for the small things.
Zipped shoe bag with a trainer being slid inside, a drawstring laundry sack standing behind it
Shoes go in soles first, so the case never meets the soles at all.

What it is

Compression is only half of packing. The other half is separation, and it is the half people improvise with carrier bags from the hotel bin. By the middle of a trip a case holds three different things — clothes you have not worn, clothes you have, and shoes that have been on a pavement — and once they mix, the clean pile smells like the trip rather than the wash.

The laundry sack is a plain drawstring bag with a mesh top so worn clothes can breathe instead of sweating shut, and it collapses to nothing on the way out. The shoe bag is zipped and shaped for a pair soles-together. The flat pouch takes the loose things that otherwise drift to the bottom of the case: charger, adaptor, spare socks, tickets. None of it compresses and none of it needs to — the job here is a boundary, not volume.

What we ask before quoting pouches

  • 01Trip length, because that sets the size of the laundry sack
  • 02Whether shoes are trainers, boots or something taller
  • 03Whether you need one sack for the family or one each
  • 04If walking or beach kit comes back wet
  • 05Whether the pouches go with a cube set or on their own

What moves the price

There is no price list on this page, because the number depends on the set rather than the item. These are the things that change it:

  • How many of each pouch you need
  • Sack size, which follows trip length and number of travellers
  • Whether it is added to a cube set or quoted alone
  • Delivery address and timing

Where it goes, and the next step

We quote for delivery around ReadingReading, Caversham, Tilehurst, Earley, Woodley, Wokingham, Twyford and Pangbourne — in GBP, with the delivery option written into the quote. Tell us how long you travel for and who shares the case, and we will quote the pouch sizes that cover it.

From there it runs the same way as everywhere else on this site: we read the request, come back to agree sizes and quantities, confirm what is in stock, and send the quote in writing. Nothing is charged and nothing is ordered until you have read that quote.
